We felt this was an interesting feature simply due to the fact that we had not seen this on any other product reviewed. Calendars, milestones and tasks are all accessible by clicking the corresponding icon, as is updating them to keep your projects current. Once updated, milestones and tasks fit under two tabs, “Upcoming” and “Completed.”

Another one of Projecturf’s best features is the streamlined interface. Large icons line the top of the screen, presenting you with the navigation, updating and resource links you need to keep your project current. When you first enter your project interface, the dashboard will display such items as project briefs, update announcements and the tasks to be completed that day. Each of these items is quite important, though the software makes your burden light by immediately sending you alerts regarding your project. We found project navigation to be quite uncomplicated. Each interface icon leads to a corresponding area, which is divided into two or three tabs for different needs.

The main downfall of this product is the absence of features. Despite an intuitive interface, it does not make up for the tools that were left out. The Gantt chart isn’t interactive, which equates to even more work on your part in editing and maintaining project tasks. In addition to this, Projecturf does not offer tracking on budgeting, financials or workloads. Each of these makes up a critical portion of effective project management, which means their absence is all the more apparent.
