Online Project Management Clarizen First to Integrate Twitter

At the stroke of midnight on Saturday, Clarizen released a new version of its popular project management service/software featuring full integration with everyone’s favorite microblogging site Twitter.

Gil Heiman said, “Now Clarizen users can use Twitter to talk to each other and to post updates to their followers, adding a new way to communicate.”

New Features for Clarizen 4.0:
Colleagues Connect & Chart via Twitter
New Connect functionality allows instant communication with participating colleagues.
This new feature allows you to instantly see who is currently signed into Clarizen, view their personal profiles and send them an email. The Connect window also allows you to exchange messages with your colleagues and Twitter users worldwide over Twitter so that you can start an online discussion in real time.

Grid View Customization
Grid View customization allows Clarizen users to better match the application to their organizational processes.
Users will be able to create Public or Private Grid views, modify and copy existing views, define order and visibility of the grid views as they appear in their Work Plan.

Email Traceability
All emails sent from within the application will be saved in the Clarizen repository. Users will be able to trace sent emails and search them by content. Emails will also be included in the Collaboration View, thus allowing reviewing of all emails sent in relation to a specific project or any of its sub-items.
